‘Tiny’ Toese accused of multiple probation violations; sentenced to six months in jail

This story is still developing, as any court orders from today’s hearing are not available for viewing at the moment. But Tusitala ‘Tiny’ Toese, a known Proud Boy member who was on probation for assault stemming from a 2018 court case, has been sentenced to apparently just shy of six months in jail. A redacted report from the probation office requested the judge to revoke his probation and sentence him to a year in jail.

The report, available here, documents a laundry list of violations from the mundane to the serious, such as:

  • Participating in an assault at the CHAZ in Seattle in June, when he needed permission to leave Clark County. He was placed on house arrest at that time and only supposed to leave home to work.
  • Attempting to move from his home without prior permission from probation.
  • Leaves the allowed range numerous times, including going to locations specifically told he could not go to.
  • Failure to report.
  • Participation in protest/demonstration in Portland in August, in violation of a special condition of his original probation.
  • Failure to pay any fines or fees.

At this time, again, it’s not certain what the reasoning behind the reduced sentence is, or if any additional penalties have been assessed.
