Veteran Run

Raindrop Works is run primarily by a disabled US Veteran, as a way to get creative impulses out in the public where they can do the most good.

LGBTQ+ Friendly

Raindrop is run by a transgender female, and we do our best to recognize people by their preferred gender identities and not disparage based on sexual preferences. Who you are and who you love or don’t love is a core part of who you are, and we fully respect that.

For the most part, writings that are made available on our website are licensed under a Creative Commons license, except where other contracts might limit us.

What we do

I haven’t been to any professional journalism school, so my formal training is minimal. My writing experience has always been from a creative writing standpoint, and that’s where I’m working from. My goal is to tell a story. A truthful one, but a story nonetheless. So it seems that my writings might come across more like journal entries than news articles, and I think that’s valid. It gets the news out, and people pay attention. And that’s what’s important to me.
